In patch 0.9.13 for SealChain: Call of Blood, the requirement to defeat the boss in order to progress through a level has been removed. Players can now pass levels without necessarily defeating the boss. This change allows for more flexible gameplay and reduces the pressure to complete challenging boss fights to advance. No other gameplay elements were modified in this update.
