Pass the Fear's 8.5 update introduces a new difficulty, The Blood Moon Has Arrived, alongside golden weapon and weapon part skins obtainable after clearing it. Players can now reroll Battle Scars before runs and access a Training Room via Dummy in camp for build testing. An Item Encyclopedia has been added to the system menu, and English voice acting is now available. Several item adjustments have been made, including changes to the Silent Hermit Battle Scar and reworks of the Overloaded Capacitor and King Hunter's Bullet. Achievements for the new difficulty have also been included.
