World of Tanks Update 2.3 introduces adjustments to the matchmaker, including reduced two-tier-above battles for Tier VII–IX vehicles and limiting artillery to two SPGs per team. Platoons are now matched by tier to ensure balanced gameplay. The Tier XI French heavy tank, Fauteur, receives balance changes affecting its unique ability and base stats.
