The One Fish patch 8.23.26 introduces a new Fishing Assist setting that simplifies gameplay by focusing on a single button for mashing. The update also adds leniency after prompt switches and reduces the frequency of prompt swaps to give players more reaction time. A new quick time event tutorial has been added, and some shop item prices have been adjusted for better balance. Additionally, the alternative middle mouse button control scheme has been removed in favor of the left and right mouse buttons.
