Sunken Engine version 1.0 concludes all story acts and adds the ending, along with intermission cinematics. The update introduces new ships, characters, cursed locations, and a unique puzzle-focused section involving the Gülcemal Ship, where players arrange rooms that reset each time they sleep. Fishing has been expanded with underwater areas, region- and weather-based fish availability, and rod upgrades. A new magic system using the Necronomicon allows players to cast helpful spells, and various UI, gameplay, and optimization improvements have been made.
