It’s been a busy week for us here at Playable Worlds Basecamp, as we’ve celebrated the close of the Stars Reach Playtest!
Our playtest has been so important to the development and evolution of Stars Reach. Those of you who have been with us along the way have had the opportunity to see art come into focus, systems evolve, and the deep physics simulation running underneath become more realistic. That is thanks to the thoughtful feedback and passion of our community.

Last weekend, we held two different community events to commemorate the final weekend of our playtest.
We asked you to join our Server Slam to test our servers, and make sure we’re as ready as possible for launch. You rose to the challenge, put our servers through their paces, and provided us with critical data that we’re using to tighten things up before launch on August 18!
We also held a “How to Homestead” event, to show players how they can claim land and manage it to ensure their corner of the galaxy stays just how they left it. If you missed the event but want to learn about homesteading, you can check out the video here.
And… that’s it! The playtest servers are closed. Early Access is mere days away.
