Patch 1.0.8 for Lay of the Land addresses several gameplay issues, including preventing detached signs from being added as map waypoints. The update fixes tool dig mode from resetting when equipping an empty inventory slot and resolves a tutorial task bug that didn't accept prefab builds. Boss behavior in peaceful mode has been corrected, and the volcano boss now properly respawns after the player moves away, though this fix will not affect existing worlds. Additionally, thunder sounds no longer play upon exiting water if certain weather conditions have occurred.
