Patch 1.245 for Fall of an Empire introduces a timed, gold-cost mechanic for relocating population and makes rebellions originate from the angriest demographic group to heighten local tensions. The UI has been improved with modifier indicator tooltips in faction overviews, a two-column power blocs layout, and sortable settlement population rows with enhanced tooltips. Steam Deck users receive performance-optimized defaults, including 30 FPS caps and UI scaling, while new content adds historical rulers, updated factions, and expanded diplomatic options for barbarian groups. Key balance changes adjust religion conversion dynamics and war scoring, and numerous bug fixes address military UI issues, succession mechanics, prisoner handling, and interaction visibility.
